Vent/Advice needed, feeling discouraged

Hi there,

I'm 25F 5'2, SW: 170 CW:173 GW:135

I've been trying to lose weight for quite some time, always quitting and restarting and what not. Ive made a commitment to track everything I eat the past three weeks, staying close to 1200-1300 calories everyday, and working out three times a week. Ive been doing C25K since the summer so I've just been doing that for my workouts. I've hit my calorie goal nearly every day but I'm gaining weight and I don't understand why. I'm eating MUCH less, working out more, and constantly hungry. I'm starting to run out of ideas for meals because everything is bland and I'm struggling eating salad for lunch every day.

Side note, I'm like REALLY looking into lifting, but im having a really hard time getting over the gym anxiety. I already go to the gym to run, but I cannot bring myself to approach the weights. Ive decided to try the beginner routine from r/fitness, but I also go to planet fitness and am limited to smith machines instead of weight racks, and lifting sounds so overwhelming.

Any advice is appreciated, I'm in a bit of a rut.
