Eat too much - be fat / Eat too little - no energy

How does one find a solid balance for their caloric intake needs vs cutting enough calories to make a weight loss goal?!

I’ve been intaking 1200-1500 calories daily lately because that’s what all the calorie calculators say to do and it feels a bit like my body is unhappy with this. My hands are always cold and I always have terrible lethargy and digestion.

When I go closer to 1800-2000 I have way more energy and I am apt to exercise more. My digestion is better and it seems like my hands are warmer.

My daily calorie burn estimation is around 2300 without exercise added in and I usually run 1-4 miles a day.

Does anyone else feel like this? Will I still lose weight?
