My vicious cycle of weight loss and weight gain. Need friendly advice.

Not sure if this is the right place but I need someone to listen to me. I go through a constant cycle of losing weight and gaining it back. I don't know what my problem is, I know I'm capable of putting in the effort and the work to do it from time to time I go on a self-destructive episode of overeating and lose my motivation to work out. And it doesn't help that I use eating as a coping mechanism, doesn't matter if I'm stressed, sad, depressed, anxious. And COVID isn't helping me out either, with the quarantine at all.

My goal essentially is to lose a healthy amount of weight. Maybe start at 10 lbs and go from there. And come up with dietary advice to help me. I need some advice on how to stop my episodes and break these bad habits. If this isn't the right subreddit, please direct me in the right direction.
