Today I didn't crave a big cheat day like I used to do!

I am on and off weight-loss for around 4-5 years now, I started at 72kg (I am 160cm, female) and my lowest weight was 52kg. But I achieved that by eating way too little during the week and then binge on the weekend, so it was far from healthy.

I gained back weight up til 58kg and then decided I wanted to give it another try, but this time I want it to be sustainable.

I started eating 4-5 snackmeals per day instead of 3 bigger meals and instead of only eating 1000 calories I now eat 1300 calories and do around 30 minutes of exercise at home, so I am sure I don't lose muscle mass again.

I feel amazing. It took me 4-5 weeks to lose 2kg and if that happened to me a year ago, I would've been so upset I would've given up. If I lost anything under 1kg per week I was mad and disappointed in myself.

Now all I think is "damn you lost 2kg!!! idgaf how long it took you but you made it!"

I used to have complete cheat days because I craved sugary and fatty food sooo badly, but today was different. Today all I want is a cheat meal, and I don't even want to overeat. I just want a hand full of fries, some chicken wings and a bit of ice cream for dessert. And then I move on to my regular diet.

I bought my favorite tub of ice cream, the kind I couldn't keep in the house for two days because I would binge it empty in one go. Not today. I want to eat some of it, and then save the rest for next week and the week after that.

I have never felt so free around food and I just had to share it, I am so happy :]
