Weighing once a day vs once a week?

Hello all! For all my life since I was like 10 I have been obese. This year I finally realized how much I really needed to lose weight both for health and for self esteem. Specifically I need to lose a little under 100 pounds which I understand is a huge undertaking but I need to do this for my health. Since obviously this will probably take quite awhile and there is so much weight to lose I get quite frustrated at how slow the progress is. I also count calories daily if that makes a difference.

My question is if it is better for me to weigh every day or two just weigh once a week. I am down almost 20lbs since mid June but am scared I'm going to end up giving up due to the relatively slow progress of the scale. What should I do?
