On Valentine's Day, I decided to love myself

I eat because I can't control what happens in my life. My cholesterol levels are high because I eat junk food whenever something bad happens. I thought emotional eating was something you can control by punishing yourself so I tried a lot of crash diets that only made me feel worse. For the very first time, I've decided to take control. I have dependency issues and a whole lot of emotional packages that affect my health overall. I've decided to unpack each one of them while also being kind to myself. So, I've decided to lose weight because I care about myself and I deserve to treat myself better. I've been lurking here before even joining reddit and have been inspired by everyone. I will make healthier choices, I will work out, and I will make sure to post an update in 3 months.
