Healthy relationship with food

I don't know how people have a healthy relationship with food and by that I mean simple things, like stopping eating when you're full or only eating food you like. If there is any food in front of me I literally have to eat it and I'm used to always finishing everything on my plate. Obviously, that doesn't help lose weight so every time I eat I have to force myself to keep thinking about if I'm full or not. It's so much work to be mindful of every bite. And when I feel full that automatically triggers guilt. I know in the back of my mind food isn't bad but diet culture has made it so hard.

Advice on how to fix that relationship?
