Small wins

I am a foodoholic. Once I start I never can stop and if something is tasty or my favourite food then no-one can help me prevent the disaster of overeating.

Whenever I do it I feel very guilty afterwards and promise myself not to do it again. My portion control is non existing.

However, yesterday I had a bake sale at work which I was organiser of. Even before it started I dreaded seeing all the baked goods and smelling them, and I knew that the urge of having one of each is gonna come. But an hour passed, we sold majority of it and I had nothing yet.

Decided to grab a container take some sweets for my partner and myself, as I hadn't had breakfast yet and I was very surprised but I had none of it. All the things I collected were brought home untouched. I was very proud.

Later that day me and my partner went to watch Australian Open on the big screen with everyone and bough ourselves pizza, a burger and a pint. I had maybe only 2 sips of the sour beer, half a burger, half portion of fries and I was good. I didn't even reach for the pizza. The whole day have been an amazing control lesson and I have to say I passed the test. I feel so happy for not allowing myself to indulge and lose control.

And that's my small win for the day.
