F16 / Is it wrong to have a secret scale?

so I bought a little scale a while back and keep it hidden so no one knows about it. I had gained about 20 pounds in a few months from my constant binge eating. My parents have a scale in the bathroom connected to their room but I don't want them to know I'm weighing myself because it might scare them. I've had anorexic tendencies in the past and almost became inpatient but I really want to try to lose weight in a healthy way this time. My bmi is normal but I am in no way fit and I'm constantly waking up in my sleep because my heart rate is so low. I am very scared of them finding it because they might get the wrong idea.

Do you think me owning a secret scale is going back into old ed habits?
