Is it still considered "mindful eating" if you eat despite not being hungry, but you haven't eaten all day?

I understand that as you lose weight, you tend to feel less hungry because your body expends less energy. When I was a little heavier, I used to have uncontrollable hunger so I made it a point to listen to my body and eat only when truly hungry. I no longer track too, since I've been wanting to eventually stop counting calories and listen to my body instead. It's been working well so far but lately, I'm starting to have days where I don't feel hungry at all throughout the day even after having only one meal.

For example, yesterday I had late breakfast so I considered it as brunch but I normally have 3 meals a day. I thought I'd feel hungry by late afternoon, until dinner came and I wasn't hungry at all but I forced myself to eat. Does this violate 'listening to my body'? Should I have not eaten since I wasn't feeling hungry?
