Weighing myself only once a month has helped me stay more disciplined

I used to weigh myself every day during diets or fasting and occasionally I'd weigh 2-3 pounds more on the scale than the day before. That really discouraged me and made me quit dieting. I felt like I'm suffering and doing all this to lose weight but I'm still gaining weight, what's the point?

Now I know that any weight gain during this time is natural and probably just me retaining water.

Now I weigh myself only once a month and I've been able to stay focused and keep on my diet (keto and fasting). I'm down 25 lbs in 2 months! If you have trouble sticking with the diet, put the scale away and only weigh yourself once a month.
