Do you think this lose weight strategy is viable?

I was thinking about a strategy to lose weight fast and I hope safely.

If I'm very sedentary and I try to lose 5 lbs fast by only eating small things for a few days, like fruits, vegetables, some little whole breads. Very low calories but no exercices, just gaming and stuff. Then when I lose the 5 lbs, I restart to eat normal amount of calories for my body, feel better since I lost 5 lbs, and restart the process maybe in 2 weeks and restart until I got my total weight goal.

So it's only ''tough'' for some days but it's only temporary.

Do you think it could be viable or it's too risky or unhealthy?
