Anyone else get told by others that you look fine but you’re still overweight/obese?

So I don’t go out as much and haven’t post anything about my weight-loss on social media, but whenever I talk about my weight loss to a few people irl, some of them tell me that I look fine and shouldn’t bother about how my body looks.

Yet my body isn’t healthy and shouldn’t be normalized. This obesity tolerance in American society is why kids are overweight, adults often stop taking care of their bodies, and we are all okay with the abnormally, large portion sizes of foods we eat at restaurants or anywhere

I guess when others surround themselves with people who are fat, it’s easy to believe obesity is normal.

Now, obviously I’m still obese even after losing 51 pounds since April (yay!) but now I’m taking accountability for myself and making sure that I get out of the obesity category and stay out of it forever.

Makes me glad that I have two good friends who keep themselves active even if they think they aren’t perfect at the gym because they want to see me become the best version of myself even though we actually don’t go to the gym together since we all live in different parts of the city.
