I’m finally doing this

I’ve gone through phases of working out and dieting before and have lost some weight throughout. My max weight was 220lbs back in high school (about 8 years ago), but I came down to about 200lbs and have been hovering in that realm ever since. Lowest weight I have ever recorded for myself was ~193lbs. Now I’m determined to reach my ideal weight of 170lbs. I think this is the perfect goal for someone of my size (5’8”), and I’m ready to achieve it. Of course, if I could go further that would be great too!

My biggest hurdle is exercise. I have never successfully created a habit of exercise. I usually drop my exercise routine after a few months of starting. This time I’ve picked up cycling, which I actually find really fun, so I’m hoping that it’ll stick. My diet isn’t terrible, I hardly ever drink anything but water and coffee, and don’t get fast food very often. Still, I will strive to eat better. I’m trying out Noom to see if I could also make a good habit out of this.

Anyway, I just wanted to post this on here to have some sort of accountability or record of my commitment. & if you all have any tips, I would love to hear them!
