ProTip: When your cravings kick in, thing of your inner voice as a toddler having a tantrum.

When you're hardcore-craving that candy, or the pizza, or the chips, or whatever those foods are that you LIVE to eat- or binge on- imagine a tiny, toddler-version of yourself throwing a temper tantrum: kicking, screaming, crying, and whining. Is that who you really want to be?

I'm in the midst of coming back from having fallen off the wagon/overcoming food addiction, and this has been pretty helpful to me so far. Changing my inner dialogue from "I want some candy. F*ck it, I'm just going to eat some candy," to "wahhhh, I want CaAnNNNDyYyY! i JuST wANT SOME cANDYY! GIMMEE!" (etc.) makes me realize how irrational and unnecessary my craving for that candy is.

You want candy. You don't need it. Don't give in to your inner whiner. It will get easier!
