I'm struggling with the "treat yourself, it's the holidays!" mindset right now.

So I've been going quite slow and steady with my weightloss journey, I've lost around 7kgs.My family thinks that I am too harsh on myself, and remind me it often.

One one hand, I get that it is nearly socially required to eat sugary sweets at Christmas, and that you shouldn't be too hard on yourself, but one the other hand, I find that after I do indulge in a lot of sweets I realize that actually following my plans and living healthy feels ALOT better to me, both in the long & short term, than the candy / junk food, and I also have a sort of "all or nothing mindset" that leads me often to overeating if I eat 1 thing "wrong".

I just find it hard, if I decide to not eat junk, then I'll worry that I'm being to harsh on myself, and if I were to eat it, then there's a big chance I'll overeat and not feel so good after.

Can anyone help me get over this peer pressure and just eat how I want to eat?

(Sidenote, I finished this at 12:18 at night and English is not my mother tongue, so if the grammar is shit, whoops)
